Software Engineer (Mobile, iOS)

Join Compass, a leading real estate technology company, as an iOS Engineer. In this role, you will contribute to building a mobile platform that enhances the home buying and selling experience. You will collaborate with engineers, product, and design teams to launch projects that solve real-world customer problems. You will also work independently to deliver features, perform code reviews, and create clear documentation. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of professional iOS development experience, a BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience, and a keen eye for design.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A keen eye for design and attention to detail. The products you build should not merely be functional but should also be well-crafted and user-friendly
• Experience integrating with RESTful backend services
• BS in CS or equivalent practical experience
• Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies
• Knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals and iOS design patterns and best practices
• Ability to collaborate with Product, Design and Engineering stakeholders to implement solutions which surprise and delight our customers
• 2+ years of professional iOS development experience using Swift and shipping apps to the App Store, including familiarity with modern Swift development practices, such as SwiftUI, Swift Concurrency. Exposure to reactive programming frameworks is a plus
