Role Overview

This role involves administering treatments, interpreting telemetry data, coordinating care, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to promote patient recovery and safety.

Requirements

• Two (2) years of experience required.
• Previous Charge Experience preferred.
• Strong MS/Tele and Ortho skills required.
• EPIC charting experience required.
• Flu Vaccine Required – No Exemptions.

Required certifications

• ACLS, BLS, Dysrhythmia certified, NIHSS.
• Teaching Hospital Experience preferred.
• Community Hospital Experience preferred.
• Active SC license or multistate license required.
• First-time Travelers accepted.

Required Clinical Skills :

Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency:

Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams preferred Work Settings:

MS/Tele Clinical Skills:

• Must have Ortho experience.

Patient Diagnosis

Includes Med/Surg, Tele, cardiac, low-risk ACS, TIAs, diabetes, hypertension, COPD, dehydration, chest pain, DVT, & PE Special Procedures:

• Bedside lumbar puncture/ Post cath (radial/femoral), Clean or no interventions/ Post-surgical/Post renal biopsy/CT Angio/Heparin drips.

Special Equipment

Telemetry/bedside pulse oximetry/dinamaps/glucometers.

Schedule

Shift hours: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) Weekend Requirement: Every Other, 6 weekend shifts Required Float as needed.
