Role Overview

This role involves administering treatments, interpreting telemetry data, coordinating care, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to promote patient recovery and safety.

Requirements

• Required 2 years’ experience.
• Required 1 year of Epic charting experience.

Medication System

Pyxis Flu Vaccine Required – No Exemptions.

Required certifications

• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, SC active RN license.
• Required 3 years’ experience within specialty for first-time travelers.
• Required Float.

Skills

IV therapy/Phlebotomy:

Blood Product Administration, Central Line Care/Management, Peripheral Line Care/Management Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response:

Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias Isolation Precautions/PPE Work settings:

MS/Tele, Telemetry preferred Respiratory:

Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration Additional Skills:

Shift hours:

• Night 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM).

Weekend Coverage

• Every other but may change based on need.
• Float - Required.
• On Call – Required.
