Automotive Technical Specialist – Level 2 | Diagnostics & Technical Support (Dutch / French / English)

Join MSX International, a leading automotive support company, as an Automotive Technical Specialist. In this role, you will provide second-level technical support to dealers and independent workshops, guiding them through complex diagnostic and repair cases. You will also coach dealer technicians, monitor repair processes, and document technical issues for the manufacturer's central technical organization. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of hands-on workshop experience, proven diagnostic expertise, and fluency in Dutch and French, along with good spoken and written English.

• Act as second-level technical support for dealers and independent workshops, resolving complex diagnostic and repair cases by phone and online.
• Find the root cause of technical deviations on mechanical, electrical/electronic, hybrid and electric systems, and guide technicians step by step to a first-time fix.
• Coach dealer technicians, spot their competence gaps and recommend targeted training so the same issue doesn’t come back.

What you must bring (essential)

• At least 3 years of hands-on workshop experience as a Master Technician, Diagnostic Technician or similar, within a dealer network or a professional workshop.
• Proven diagnostic expertise: you're confident with OEM diagnostic tools, wiring diagrams, measurements (multimeter, oscilloscope) and structured fault-finding on vehicle electronics.
• Solid knowledge of current vehicle technology: mechanical systems, electronics, networks/CAN, and hybrid/electric propulsion.
• Fluent Dutch and French, plus good spoken and written English.
• You live in Belgium or the Netherlands and are eligible to work in the EU.

What makes you stand out (a strong plus)

• High-voltage / hybrid qualification (e.g. HEV Level 2 or Level 3, or equivalent).
• Experience in a technical helpdesk or first-level technical support role (L1).
• Experience within an OEM dealer network.
• A diploma in automotive technology or automotive engineering (equivalent field experience is equally valued).
• Experience coaching or training other technicians.
• Good MS Office skills.
