R&D Project Manager Inkjet Flint Group Digital Xeikon | Lier, Belgium | Full-time Lead industrial inkjet development from business case to market introduction, bringing multidisciplinary teams together to turn customer needs into production-ready printing solutions. About Flint Group Digital Xeikon and the role Flint Group Digital Xeikon, part of Flint Group, develops digital printing solutions for labels and packaging. As R&D Project Manager, you will lead projects across our inkjet portfolio, including Panther UV inkjet label presses and IDERA aqueous inkjet solutions for corrugated applications. Reporting to the Director Inkjet & Program Management, you will guide development, validation, industrialisation and launch, leading cross-functional teams through collaboration and influence. • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, applied science or technology, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least five years of project management experience in complex industrial product development, including work with external suppliers or development partners.
• Strong planning, budget and risk management skills, with experience of validation, industrialisation and structured project reviews.
• The technical judgement to work across disciplines, communicate clearly and align stakeholders without formal authority.
• Professional proficiency in English and willingness to travel internationally when projects require it. Dutch or other languages are an advantage. Industrial inkjet, digital printing, capital equipment or hardware/software development experience is an advantage. Project management certification is welcome but not essential.
