THE OPPORTUNITYWe're seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our operations team at our state-of-the-art facility in Gent Zeehaven. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll guide, inspire, and work alongside a dedicated team of warehouse professionals while ensuring operational excellence in our fast-paced international logistics environment.YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Team Leadership:

Coach and motivate warehouse staff to consistently achieve operational KPIs and quality standardsOperational Planning: Create efficient work schedules, allocate resources, and optimize workflow processesHands-On Management: Lead by example - work directly with your team using forklifts and warehouse equipment when neededPerformance Management:

Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and implement improvement initiativesCritical Decision Making: Make quick, effective decisions during peak periods and tight deadline situationsSafety & Compliance: Ensure all safety protocols and quality standards are maintained at all timesReporting:

Provide regular updates to warehouse supervisors and operational managementContinuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:Essential Requirements: 3 years of team leadership experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution environmentsForklift certification (or commitment to obtain certification within 30 days)Strong communication skills in Dutch and English (French is a plus)Proven track record of meeting KPIs and managing operational deadlinesPhysical stamina for hands-on warehouse work and extended periods on your feetFlexible schedule - ability to work various shifts including occasional weekendsProblem-solving mindset with ability to make decisions under pressure Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field or equal through experienceExperience with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)Knowledge of customs procedures and international shippingLean/Six Sigma certification or continuous improvement experienceMultilingual capabilities for our international client base
