Senior Software Engineer (Infrastructure)

• Deploy and manage build systems, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based infrastructure such as AWS.
• Collaborate with other software team members and cross-functional engineers to deliver mission-critical software infrastructure and tools.
• Ensure that adequate documentation, test, inspection, and analysis is delivered and performed to verify compliance with requirements and other goals.

• Experience with version control and continuous integration
• Expertise working with Linux toolchains and environments (Gnu toolchain, QEMU, Buildroot, Yocto)
• Proven experience delivering products on time and on budget
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work across teams, skill sets, communication in a diverse environment
• Software in a production environment
• Expertise in engineering clean and maintainable Python and Bash code
• Expertise with developer took chains, build tools and pipeline, such as Git, GitLab, GitLab CI, Jenkins, JIRA
• Experience working in Agile/SCRUM environment
• At least six (6) years of experience delivering and maintaining commercial/embedded
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision
• Due to program requirements, this role requires US citizenship
• Excellent root cause analysis and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
• Experience testing and verifying embedded software
• Bonus if experience building or maintaining hardware for embedded software testing
• Experience programming in Python
• Experience programming in C/C++
• Experience maintaining CI/CD systems, or in maintaining infrastructure as code
• Bonus for ability to debug C/C++ and perform fault analysis
• Experience with buildroot or Yocto
• Experience with QEMU and device emulation
