Summer 2027 Intern - Software Engineer (Security/Government)

Join Salesforce as a Summer 2027 Intern in the Software Engineer (Security/Government) role. As an intern, you will work on the GovCloud Development Platform team, collaborating closely with senior engineers to deliver robust product onboarding experiences, cloud-native services, and resilient infrastructure. This position requires U.S. citizenship and a strong background in computer science or a related engineering discipline.

• Collaborate with senior engineers to implement projects ensuring high availability and security compliance for software services.
• Work within team-defined designs and architecture to help deliver robust product onboarding experiences, cloud-native services, and resilient infrastructure.
• Influence the future of products, platform, and AI-powered experiences while receiving mentorship from experienced engineers.

• Due to the citizenship requirements for this role, which supports U.S. federal, state, and/or local government customers, citizenship will be verified through two of the following REAL ID Act documents: U.S. Passport, Passport Card, REAL Driver’s License, Global Entry Card, U.S. Government CAC/PIV
• You agree to complete a Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) for a Moderate Public Trust position with the U.S. federal government and gain other clearances as deemed appropriate for the role.**
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming/design, algorithms, and data structures and how to efficiently implement them into a solution
• Strong understanding of CS fundamentals and practical coding application
• Team player with demonstrated collaboration skills
• Strong background in Computer Science or related engineering discipline
• **This candidate must be a U.S. citizen (U.S. born or naturalized) operating on U.S. Soil who does not hold dual citizenship and has the ability to meet customer and government screening standards applicable to this role, including a Criminal Justice Information Services screening with fingerprint scan
• Must be located in North America
