Legal Counsel (Litigation)

Join ServiceTitan, the operating system of the trades, as a Legal Counsel specializing in litigation. In this role, you will manage a range of disputes and litigation matters, partner with cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvement in litigation processes. You will also provide employment advice and counsel, respond to third-party subpoenas, and support public company reporting on litigation. • Strong project management experience with a proven track record of meeting deadlines and delivering extraordinary results on time
• Excellent legal and business judgment, including the ability to weigh litigation risk against business priorities and recommend practical outcomes
• Litigation experience at a top tier law firm
• Excellent legal writing and drafting skills and meticulous attention to detail; candidates must demonstrate a consistent track record of producing accurate, polished work product with minimal errors
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) and current member in good standing of at least one U.S. state bar
• Proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams and advising executives

• Experience defending complex litigation and class actions
• Experience managing a docket of commercial disputes, including pleadings, motion practice, discovery, and settlement negotiation
• General working knowledge of e-discovery and legal hold practices and comfort adopting legal technology and AI tools to scale litigation and subpoena workflows
• 4-6 years of relevant experience as a practicing litigation attorney
• Proven ability to operate with a high degree of independence, manage competing priorities without close supervision, and exercise sound judgment in ambiguous situations; a proactive, driven, and adaptable professional who thrives in a fast-moving environment
• Reliability and professionalism during high-pressure periods, including competing deadlines and time-sensitive matters
• In addition to law firm experience, in-house litigation experience is a plus, particularly within the technology industry
• Experience responding to subpoenas and other third-party discovery
• Working knowledge of bankruptcy, or a demonstrated ability to learn it quickly
• Experience with employment litigation, arbitration, or agency charge response (including wage-and-hour, discrimination, and retaliation claims); California employment law experience is a plus
• Experience managing outside counsel and litigation budgets is a plus
