Consultant

Join our team as a Consultant, where you will deliver custom Business Intelligence and Advanced Analytics solutions to clients. You will work closely with clients to understand their business objectives and technical requirements, and independently develop tailored analytical solutions. Strong technical proficiency in SQL, relational databases, and business intelligence tools is required, along with excellent communication skills and a consultative mindset.

• Business Acumen: Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and align analytical approaches with organizational objectives
• Business Intelligence and Visualization: Strong proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar tools, including developing dashboards, underlying data models, and automated reporting solutions
• SQL and Data Querying: Advanced SQL proficiency required, including independently writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting complex queries involving joins, CTEs, window functions, aggregations, and data transformations across multiple data sources
• Data Integration and Transformation: Experience integrating, cleaning, transforming, and validating data from multiple sources. Familiarity with database views, stored procedures, and ETL/ELT processes
• Collaboration: Ability to work independently and collaboratively across technical and non-technical teams while effectively managing deliverables and communicating with stakeholders
• Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills with experience working with large datasets, identifying trends, and applying analytical methodologies to solve business challenges
• Data Storytelling: Ability to translate complex datasets and analytical findings into clear, compelling narratives that influence decision-making and communicate insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Attention to Detail: Commitment to accuracy, consistency, and reliability in data analysis, reporting, and database management
• Database Management: Strong understanding of relational database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or AWS Redshift, including database structures, data modeling, table relationships, and query performance optimization
• Technical Problem-Solving: Ability to independently investigate data discrepancies, troubleshoot SQL and reporting issues, and identify opportunities to improve data quality and analytical processes
• Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on analytics experience, preferably in the sports and entertainment industry
• Programming and Scripting: Experience with Python, R, or similar languages for data manipulation, automation, and advanced analysis
• Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with cloud-based data environments, preferably AWS, including services such as Redshift, S3, Glue, or Athena
• Advanced Analytics: Exposure to statistical modeling, predictive analytics, machine learning, customer segmentation, lead scoring, or customer lifetime value modeling
• CRM and Marketing Technologies: Understanding of CRM systems, preferably Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics, and experience working with customer, ticketing, or marketing automation data
• Data Engineering: Experience developing or maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines, stored procedures, and automated data workflows
• Industry and Platform Knowledge: Experience in sports and entertainment analytics and knowledge of the KORE Intelligence Platform or similar customer data platforms
