Senior General Ledger Accountant

As a Senior General Ledger Accountant, you will own and scale the month-end close and general ledger, ensuring accurate coding, recording, and reconciliation of transactions. You will partner closely with various teams, prepare journal entries, maintain prepaid schedules, perform monthly analysis, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and support international subsidiaries. • Ownership and scaling of the company's month-end close and general ledger, including journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Collaboration with various departments to ensure accurate coding, recording, and reconciliation of transactions, particularly in high-volume areas.
• Preparation and posting of journal entries for accruals, prepaids, reclasses, and fixed asset depreciation, as well as ownership of operating expense accruals.

• The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable owning the close in an environment where systems and processes are still being built
• Exposure to SOX readiness, internal controls documentation, or an ERP implementation or chart-of-accounts redesign a plus
• 4–6 years of general ledger or corporate accounting experience, ideally including time at a high-growth technology or SaaS company; public accounting experience a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or progress toward CPA preferred
• Strong systems orientation, including experience with ERPs such as NetSuite; familiarity with spend management platforms such as Ramp a plus
• Strong communication skills and comfort asking questions early and partnering across teams
• Advanced Excel skills and the ability to build clean, auditable schedules
• Strong grasp of U.S. GAAP and accrual accounting, including prepaid and capitalization policy
• Hands-on experience owning month-end close tasks, including journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Experience supporting external audits and preparing clear supporting documentation
• Experience with multi-entity accounting, intercompany, and foreign currency a plus
• Comfortable working in an environment with rapidly evolving systems and changing business requirements
