The ideal candidate is a Staff-level product leader with deep expertise and 3–5 years of experience in the ads measurement ecosystem. The candidate should understand the measurement needs of advertisers, and possess a deep, technical knowledge of internet technologies involved in tagging and data collection. They must have a demonstrated track record of outlining the vision for net-new products and enhancements and driving multi-quarter roadmaps to successful launches. They must bring strong quantitative fluency, understand attribution, browser technologies and privacy regulations. They excel at cross-functional leadership with engineering, data science, design, research, PMM, sales, partnerships, legal, privacy, and policy/integrity, and have proven GTM and adoption muscles to align enablement, customer narratives, and success metrics across stakeholders.
What you’ll do:
- Own the strategy and end-to-end execution of privacy-centric measurement at Pinterest, including modeled conversions, consent-aware measurement and various privacy enhancing technologies. Own the vision and execution for both net-new products and enhancements to existing capabilities. Define a multi-quarter roadmap, align architecture and guardrails with partners, and drive execution so infrastructure, experimentation, and user-facing surfaces work in concert to deliver measurable creator, advertiser and Pinner outcomes.
- Partner closely with engineering, product, data science, design, research, PMM, sales, and policy/integrity teams to ensure both product-market fit as well as compliance and durability for solutions that you will build. Serve as the single-threaded owner for the ads stack solutions, driving cross-PM dependency planning, experimentation, launch/GTM coordination, and feedback loops so back-end systems and front-end experiences land cohesively and at high quality.
- Build a comprehensive suite of product solutions that enable advertisers to get a complete picture of their advertising performance while adhering to privacy regulations and addressing ecosystem challenges.
What we’re looking for:
- 8+ years of experience working as a Product Manager or in a related role, including 3–5+ years of substantial ads or marketing measurement experience.
- Strong evidence of the ability to define new products and strategies in an ambiguous space and execute from ideation and multi-quarter roadmaps through go-to-market and adoption.
- Deep understanding of the ads measurement, and how advertisers measure performance.
- An understanding of data privacy regulations, and the browser ecosystem.
- Experience partnering with engineering, data science, analytics, research, or PMM cross-functional teams.
- Deep understanding of business metrics and tradeoffs in the context of online platforms or multi-sided ecosystems.
- Preferred but not required: Data privacy expertise.
- Preferred but not required: Understanding of privacy-safe measurement, signal loss, clean rooms, marketing mix modeling, or cross-channel measurement.
- Preferred but not required: Experience designing, running, or analyzing incrementality or lift experiments.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
- This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 1-2 times/quarter and therefore can be situated anywhere in the country.
This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.
