Senior Accountant (Cost Accounting & Operations)

Join Matternet, a company revolutionizing delivery with autonomous drone networks. As a Senior Accountant, you will support general accounting and monthly close while bringing manufacturing and cost accounting expertise to our operations. Your responsibilities will include inventory accounting, product costing, reconciliations, and financial controls. You will also support accounts payable and vendor administration. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of accounting experience, proficiency in Excel and accounting systems, and a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Assurer la comptabilité des stocks, y compris les matières premières, le travail en cours (WIP) et les produits finis ; réconcilier les sous-comptes d'inventaire avec le grand livre.
• Analyser les écarts de fabrication et maintenir un coût de produit précis en partenariat avec la fabrication et la chaîne d'approvisionnement.
• Préparer les écritures de journal, les rapprochements de bilan, les charges à payer et les annexes de soutien pour la clôture mensuelle ; enquêter et résoudre les éléments de rapprochement.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Familiarity with tax compliance filings (use tax, property tax, 1099 reporting)
• Hands-on experience with inventory accounting, WIP, production orders, material consumption, manufacturing variances, and product costing
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems/ERP platforms; SAP experience preferred
• Experience with monthly close, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and internal controls, including segregation of duties
• 4+ years of accounting experience, including manufacturing and cost accounting experience
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
