Senior DevOps Engineer

Join Formlabs as a Senior DevOps Engineer, where you'll play a crucial role in building, scaling, and maintaining our products and services. As part of the Platform Engineering team, you'll design, build, and operate reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure, drive improvements in developer experience, and mentor other engineers. You'll work with cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and automation tooling, and collaborate cross-functionally with software, test, and data teams.

• Design, build, and operate reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure to support the development, testing, and operation of Formlabs' software and services.
• Drive improvements in developer experience through better CI/CD pipelines, observability, and platform tooling.
• Take ownership of production systems with a proactive mindset towards monitoring, performance, and continuous improvement.

• Solid networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP/S)
• Scripting in Bash, Python, or similar
• Hands-on expertise with:
• Linux systems administration and troubleshooting
• Kubernetes
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm, ArgoCD, etc.)
• CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• 5+ years of relevant experience in DevOps, Platform, or SRE roles supporting production SaaS systems
• Cloud platforms (GCP, AWS)
• Experience supporting complex distributed systems in production environments
• Monitoring and observability systems (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Sentry, etc.)
• Strong understanding of modern infrastructure security principles
• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• Background in building developer platforms or internal tooling for large engineering teams
• Familiarity with 3D printing workflows or hardware/software integration
• Strong interest in improving engineering productivity and operational maturity through automation and tooling
