Job Description
Join our team as the Director of AI Product Management, Platform. In this role, you will own the product strategy and roadmap for our platform, leading a team to define core capabilities and drive adoption. You will work closely with product and engineering teams, client stakeholders, and business leaders to ensure alignment and measurable impact. Additionally, you will manage and develop a team of product managers, creating a performance-driven environment. Enjoy a hybrid schedule, flexible PTO, family support benefits, a mentorship culture, and world-class wellness offerings.
- Commercially grounded: You bring an entrepreneurial mindset paired with strong commercial instincts, identifying where platform investments unlock measurable efficiency across teams, and connecting delivery wins to the platform’s long-term compounding value
- Technical fluency: You are deeply technical and architecturally fluent, understanding how modern agent systems actually work (models, harnesses, tool protocols, memory, evaluation, and runtime infrastructure) well enough to make sound tradeoffs alongside engineering and recognize which layers the platform should own versus abstract. You translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and leverage modern AI tools to accelerate product development
- Deeply curious: You have a genuine drive to understand how the world is changing and how emerging AI capabilities can be applied in practice. You invest time in staying close to new developments, forming clear opinions on what makes systems effective, and bringing that perspective into product strategy, team leadership, and execution
- Relationship-driven: You build durable relationships with internal leaders, understanding their motivations and constraints, and using these partnerships to shape decisions, secure alignment, and accelerate impact
- Systems and governance minded: You design governance-by-default infrastructure, so partners can build and deploy safely without re-solving the same problem each bring strong platform product judgment, knowing which abstractions will hold, when to standardize versus stay flexible, and you're willing to say no to one-off requests in service of a platform that scales
- Customer centric: High-level empathy for the teams who build on and depend on the platform, with a sharp sense for developer experience and governance design - able to thread the needle between customer enablement and necessary friction for governance
- Driving complex decision-making: Experience influencing cross-functional leaders, navigating competing priorities across internal teams and regulated client requirements, and making high-impact platform decisions in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
- Built from experience: You’ve worked hands-on with production-grade AI systems, whether evaluating model behavior, running analyses (sql, python), building agent infrastructure, and codifying that work into reusable capabilities that compound time-to-value across teams. You're comfortable operating close to the details, whether that's diagnosing a runtime issue, reading an architecture review, or sitting with a client's security team to work through a compliance question
- End-to-end ownership: Experience driving AI/ML products from concept through iteration, guiding a team through delivery, and owning the outcomes and business impact of the work
- Partner engagement: Experience serving as a strategic partner to both internal delivery teams and external client stakeholders who must approve what's deployed into their environment, leading discovery, validating opportunities, and aligning teams around shared goals, particularly in regulated or enterprise contexts
- People leader: Managed teams of product managers, including being a manager of managers - providing feedback and encouragement with direct responsibility for the team’s contributions
