Staff Software Engineer

Join our team as a Staff Software Engineer, where you'll lead the design, development, and delivery of complex internal platforms. You'll own backend services, integrate microservices, and work closely with TPMs and business stakeholders. You'll also mentor other engineers and model best practices in software craftsmanship.

• Independently lead the design, development, and delivery of complex, high-impact systems within internal Go-To-Market applications and Sales CRM.
• Own backend services end-to-end, including REST/GraphQL APIs and event-driven microservices (Kafka), and integrate microservices with ServiceNow platform applications.
• Mentor other engineers and serve as a technical resource within your domain, raising the bar through code review, scalable system design.

• We're looking for someone who combines deep software engineering fundamentals with hands-on, already-fluent expertisein AI-assisted and agentic development — not someone looking to pick it up on the job
• Real, hands-on microservices experience, including event-driven architecture (Kafka or similar)
• Working front-end skills with a modern component framework
• CI/CD, containers, observability, and L3 incident/support experience for internal production systems
• ~8+ years of practical software engineering experience, including production systems you've owned end-to-end
• Strong collaboration skills — comfortable working with TPMs and business stakeholders to clarify ambiguous requirements
• A record of mentoring engineers and raising quality through code review
• Current, hands-on experience with agentic workflows, LLM integration, RAG, Knowledge grapgh, MCP or prompt engineering — you should already be fluent here
• Strong fundamentals: data structures, system design, REST/GraphQL, relational data modeling, testing
• Kafka/event-driven architecture depth, or NoSQL data modeling (e.g., Cosmos DB)
• Billing, contracts, quoting, or usage-based commercial systems experience
• ServiceNow Platform certification and/or development experience is a strong added advantage
