Data Engineer – Azure & Power BI

Responsibilities

• Migrate and maintain existing data pipelines and data warehouse structures.
• Model data according to industry standards including Kimball , Inmon , and Data Vault .
• Develop data processing logic using SQL and Python .
• Design and implement Power BI datasets, semantic layers, and operational dashboards.
• Translate business requirements into concrete visualisations and KPIs .
• Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to onboard new data domains and use cases.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a BI Developer with focus on ETL and reporting.
• 3+ years of experience as a BI Consultant .
• 2+ years of project experience with SQL .
• Proven experience with Microsoft Fabric or the Azure Data Stack , including Data Factory and Synapse .
• Extensive experience with Power BI , specifically building semantic models and dashboards.
• In-depth knowledge of data warehouse modeling principles like Kimball , Inmon , or Data Vault .
• Experience with Git and versioning workflows.
• You possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
• You are native in Dutch .
• Nice to Haves Experience with Azure Data Factory and dbt .
• Knowledge of Python for data processing.
• Experience with requirements analysis.
• Experience with open-source solutions such as Apache products.
