  • Deliver top-tier performance using the Plan–Do–Check–Adjust cycle

Safety Leadership (Non-Negotiable)

  • Champion safety processes, including LOTO, safety maps, BOS, and root cause analysis (RCA)
  • Ensure zero-harm manufacturing through proactive hazard elimination
  • Coach teams daily on safe behaviors; close corrective actions fast

Quality & Food Safety

  • Protect the brand through precision: food safety checks, CCP verification, sanitation discipline, and product integrity
  • Lead rapid response and RCA on deviations
  • Help maintain our “100% right, 100% of the time” mindset

Operations Excellence

  • Maintain equipment at basic conditions and execute AM/PM strategies (breakdown, planned & progressive maintenance)
  • Lead line startup, shutdown, and changeovers with speed and discipline
  • Drive throughput, minimize downtime, reduce waste, and lift OEE
  • Make data visible—hour-by-hour boards, digital trackers, deviation logs

People & Culture Leadership

  • Lead a diverse team across multiple lines; set expectations, give timely feedback, coach on the floor, and inspire accountability
  • Handle tough interpersonal situations tactfully and confidently
  • Influence effectively in a union environment (if applicable)
  • Build a bench of future leaders—cross-training, upskilling, succession planning

High performers want to grow. You’ll create an environment where growth is built into the culture.

CI, TPM & Breakdown Elimination

  • Use Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, and Breakdown Elimination tools to drive permanent solutions
  • Lead Kaizens that actually stick—sustain improvements through SOPs, centerlining, and OnePoint Lessons
  • Own stops reduction and loss analysis during your shift

What You Bring

High performers who excel here often have:

Required

  • 2+ years of Supervisory/leadership manufacturing experience (food CPG strongly preferred)
  • Strong technical aptitude + shopfloor confidence

  • Fierce attention to detail and strong written & verbal communication

Preferred / “Standout Factor”

  • Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Ops, Food Science, Business)
  • IL6S/TPM experience; Green Belt / Lean Six Sigma certified
  • Experience leading in a unionized environment
  • Brilliant problem solver with a calm under pressure mindset
  • Background in breakdown elimination & 5S systems
