Seasonal Grounds Assistant

Under the general supervision of the Technology and Grounds Supervisor, the Seasonal Grounds Assistant will perform duties according to the broadly prescribed landscaping master plan for Allegheny College’s 74 facilities and 565 acre campuses. These tasks will include grounds maintenance, composting, event set-ups, moving and related tasks. Performs operational risk management and ensures compliance with work center safety, hazardous material handling, and proper equipment wear.

Performs responsibilities; responds to routine/urgent/emergency service calls. Works as part of the Maintenance Department’s team may assist the other Physical Plant teams (Carpentry, Electrical, HVAC/R, Locksmith, Painting, and Plumbing) on projects.
