Starting at $18 per hour Schedule at our Rock Hill, MO warehouse is Monday through Friday with occasional weekends Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, retirement savings plan, holiday pay, EAP, employee discount program, and paid parental leave What the role is about: We have an exciting opportunity for a Cannabis Cultivation Technician to assist with the coordination of all grow operations in a controlled agriculture environment.

The Cannabis Cultivation Technician will join us on our journey to transform our bold ambitions for the Missouri cannabis market into a reality, working out of our Rock Hill, MO warehouse.

What impact you’ll make

Measure, mix, and administer nutrients and plant applications according to company policy Perform ongoing plant maintenance, including pruning, skirting, topping, and training, according to company policy Germinate seeds in a clean environment, create viable and healthy clones from mother plants, and transplant and transfer plants Spray and introduce preventive controls for pests Weigh and sort all shake, stem, and trimmed material and each plant’s yield, and report all weights to the Cultivation Production Manager Record weights, nutrients used, chemicals sprayed, and tagged plants as required by the state track and trace system, and document plant tracking numbers, lot numbers, and applications accurately Monitor plant health and environmental controls, adjusting as directed and reporting anomalies to the Cultivation Production Manager Assist the Cultivation Production Manager with rotating strains through the garden to meet variety and quantity goals and with tracking plants from birth to harvest Keep the assigned facility area clean and safe by sanitizing rooms, tools, and cultivation equipment, and meet company personal hygiene standards before any production activities What you’ve accomplished:

Great attitude and ability to follow direction, learn quickly, and gain an understanding of the broader cultivation process 1 year of experience in commercial cannabis or a related field High school diploma or GED Passion for cannabis Must be 21 years of age or older, and must submit fingerprints and pass a criminal background check to obtain a Missouri Agent ID card Ability to work weekends and holidays Ability to regularly walk, stand, stoop, bend/crouch, climb stairs, ladders, and scaffolding, and lift 50 lbs Preferred:

Prior cultivation experience in a cannabis cultivation setting working with a large volume of plants, and a horticulture or plant science degree Why Choose Vireo?
