Job Title

Senior Health & Safety Specialist Location: Graniteville, SC Onsite Salary: $90,000–$120,000/year + Annual Bonus Relocation: Eligible Job Summary We are seeking a Senior Health & Safety Specialist to lead EHS programs and safety initiatives at a large manufacturing facility supporting 500+ employees .

This role will partner with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, HR, and leadership to ensure OSHA compliance, reduce workplace risks, and strengthen the site's safety culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and improve health & safety programs, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, risk assessments, and hazard analyses.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Ensure OSHA compliance, recordkeeping, and regulatory reporting.
• Manage programs including **LOTO, machine guarding, confined space, ergonomics, hot work, and contractor safety.
• Develop and deliver safety training for employees, contractors, and leadership.
• Monitor safety metrics, injury trends, near misses, and corrective actions.
• Support emergency preparedness and regulatory inspections.
• Partner with plant leadership to identify risks and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, EHS, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of EHS/Safety experience in manufacturing, industrial, or heavy-production environments.
• Strong knowledge of

OSHA regulations and safety compliance

. Experience with incident investigations, root cause analysis, audits, risk assessments, and corrective actions. Experience with OSHA recordkeeping and safety training.

Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Ability to work onsite and respond to off-shift safety incidents/emergencies as needed.

Preferred: CSP, ASP, CIH, OHST, or First Aid/CPR/AED certification. Would you like to know more about this opportunity?
