Electronics Teardown

Summary: Teardown, cleaning, & prep of electronic controls & assemblies. Supervisory Responsibilities: · None .

Duties/Responsibilities: Disassemble, scrape labels, cleaning, & polishing of electronic controls. Identify different makes & models of electronic controls.

Identify worn & burnt PCB’s or damaged cases & housing. Make ready good parts for bench techs & assemblers. Help maintain inventory of rebuildable parts.

Keep work area clean & organized. Help maintain a safe work environment. Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Strong verbal & written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills & attention to detail.
• Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced & at times stressful environment.

Education & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent. At least two years related experience preferred. Basic knowledge of working with hand tools & handheld power tools.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing or sitting at a workbench.
• Must be able to 40 pounds at times.
