Investment Designer (Contract)

Join our team as an Investment Designer on a contract basis. In this role, you will implement a variety of cosmetic rewards, perform scripting and tool work, design and implement sustainable content, and tune progression values. You will have the opportunity to work with game development software and tools, collaborate with a large team, and contribute to a game as a service/live content. • Implement a wide variety of cosmetic rewards that complement Marathon activities and store.
• Design and implement sustainable content that excites and engages players, tuning progression values to create compelling moments.
• Perform scripting and tool work to enhance game development processes and systems.

• Some experience working with game development software and tools
• Desire to work as part of a large team and ability to take and provide feedback and direction appropriately
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional game development experience
• Knowledgeable in reward and cosmetic systems
• Experience & understanding player motivation; knowing what drives people to engage with content
• Experience working on games as a service/live content
• Technical experience writing text-based scripts to manage game systems (scripting in a Lua, Python, or similar language)
