Institutional Operations Internship

Join Coinbase as an Institutional Operations Intern for a 12-week summer internship in 2027. As part of the Institutional Operations Solutions (IOS) team, you will manage risk and deliver operational solutions across Coinbase's Institutional organization. You will work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and institutional clients, tackle real operational challenges, and support day-to-day IOS operations while identifying and managing operational risk. You will also analyze data sets, deliver recommendations, and collaborate with fellow interns on a group project.

• Support day-to-day IOS operations while identifying and managing operational risk across compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and risk management capabilities, recommending solutions backed by data analysis.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and other cross-functional stakeholders to build technology solutions that support institutional operations at scale.

• Demonstrated problem-solving ability with capacity to identify second-order effects and streamline processes accordingly
• Currently pursuing a degree or certificate in business, management, finance, accounting, or a related discipline
• Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality
• Familiarity with finance or banking concepts, with interest in crypto and digital assets
• Proven willingness to engage cross-functional stakeholders and collaborate in team settings
