Vice President of Account Management (Commercial Issuers)

Join Mastercard as the Vice President of Account Management for Commercial Issuers. In this role, you will lead Mastercard's relationship with assigned accounts, drive strategic initiatives for portfolio growth, and maintain expert-level knowledge of both Mastercard and customer businesses. You will also coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions and play a central role in commercial negotiations. The preferred location is NYC, but remote work is also an option.

• Own and lead Mastercard’s relationship with assigned accounts, serving as a trusted advisor to senior client leadership on portfolio growth and long-term strategy.
• Identify, shape, and execute strategic initiatives that drive measurable growth in spend, acquisition, and engagement across cobranded portfolios.
• Coordinate cross-functional Mastercard teams to deliver integrated solutions for the client, ensuring alignment with client priorities and internal stakeholders.

• Confident in extracting insights across quantitative and qualitative data sources
• Location preferred NYC; open to remote
• Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously in high-stakes, ambiguous environments
• Strong emotional intelligence; comfortable speaking publicly as well as building meaningful relationships at both senior and junior levels
• Capable of understanding, distilling and working through complex business and technical challenges
• Experience with cobranded card programs, loyalty ecosystems, or large-scale FI partnerships preferred
• Proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders and driving complex initiatives to execution
• Experience in commercial payments, financial technology and / or management consulting
