Supplier Quality Engineer

Join Form Energy as a Supplier Quality Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of products shipped to Form Factory 1. You will work closely with various teams, including design engineering, supplier industrialization engineering, supply chain, and product quality teams. • Establish incoming/outgoing quality standards and metrics to be utilized by manufacturing partners, and assist in the development of raw material specifications.
• Lead failure/root cause analysis efforts, assist in the development of supplier quality documentation, and drive Zero Defect mentality within the supply base.
• Monitor and measure supplier performance related to quality nonconformance, work with suppliers on the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), and lead audit activities at suppliers.

• Experience with supplier development, management, and auditing with global suppliers to industry quality standards (ISO9001, IATF16949, AS91000, etc.)
• Knowledge of quality standards, approval processes, and manufacturing/process improvement methodologies
• 10+ years experience in quality, manufacturing, or production development
• BS in Electrical. Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required
• Understanding of applications of SPC, Cpk, Gage R&Rs, PPAPs, and process qualification methodologies
