Job Description
Join MerQube, a technology-driven index provider, as a Client Services Associate. In this role, you will support and take ownership of client relationships, manage onboarding and contracting processes, and maintain visibility into ongoing client activity. You will work closely with internal teams and develop a strong understanding of your clients and their businesses. This position offers opportunities for growth within a growing financial technology firm.
- Develop a strong understanding of assigned clients, their businesses, key stakeholders, current projects, and use of MerQube indices and services.
- Build relationships with client contacts and serve as an increasingly independent point of contact for day-to-day client needs.
- Manage client onboarding and coordinate the process from initial commercial agreement through contracting, implementation, and launch.
- This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys combining relationship management with execution: understanding what a client is trying to accomplish, keeping multiple workstreams moving, solving problems, and making sure the details behind the relationship are handled well
- 2–4 years of experience in client services, account management, financial services, indexing, asset management, management consulting, or a related field
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in finance, economics, business, or a related field
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple clients, projects, contracts, and deadlines simultaneously
- Solutions-oriented and proactive, with the ability to identify issues, coordinate across teams, and drive matters toward resolution
- Comfortable working independently within a fast-paced, collaborative, global organization
- Strong client-facing communication skills, both verbal and written, with the confidence to interact professionally with a range of stakeholders
- Strong interest in financial markets and a desire to develop a deeper understanding of indices and index-linked products
- Familiarity with ETFs and other financial products that use, reference, or track indices strongly preferred; exposure to structured products, derivatives, asset management, or index licensing is a plus
- Experience with Salesforce or another CRM platform strongly preferred
