Presales Systems Engineer (Entry Level)

Join our Center of Excellence Engineering Team as a Presales Systems Engineer. In this entry-level position, you will support our network of Channel Partners in designing solutions for their customers. You will be responsible for all technical aspects of assigned projects, including equipment list generation, system design, and understanding customer requirements. • Assisting in the design and development of solutions for customers, including equipment lists and system design.
• Collaborating with senior engineers to oversee all technical aspects of assigned projects from award until system acceptance.
• Participating in proposal reviews and contract negotiations, ensuring that customer requirements are met.

• General knowledge of RF coverage predictions, traffic/capacity modeling, and related toolsets
• Experience with Google Scripts is highly desirable
• General knowledge of wireless communications fundamentals and voice/data architectures - both public and private (e.g. APCO P25, LTE, 802.11, 3G/4G)
• General understanding of IP networking architecture, protocols and security
• Experience with Google Suite Platform (Docs, Sheets, Forms, etc.)
• Willingness to think out of the box and challenge the status quo
• Willingness to travel: 10%
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science or related field
• Bachelor's Degree OR 1+ years of experience with Systems Engineering or Wireless Communications
