Compliance KYC Manager

Join Paxos, a leading blockchain infrastructure platform, as a Compliance KYC Manager. In this role, you will lead a team responsible for customer onboarding and ongoing due diligence, manage KYC operations, and partner with various teams to improve KYC processes and tools. You will also own and maintain KYC policies and procedures, manage vendor relationships, and drive improvements to KYC tooling and workflows. The ideal candidate will have experience in KYC operations, team management, and a deep knowledge of US KYC requirements.

• Lead a team responsible for customer onboarding and ongoing due diligence, ensuring compliance with KYC regulations.
• Review complex cases, resolve escalations, and coach sound, risk-based decision-making while managing queue performance.
• Own and maintain KYC policies and procedures, driving remediation of control gaps and audit or regulatory findings.

• Experience leading KYC operations and working directly in queues, reviewing complex cases, resolving escalations, and documenting defensible, risk-based decisions
• Experience owning remediation of control gaps and audit or regulatory findings, including implementation, evidence retention, and validation support
• A hands-on approach, strong ownership, and comfort operating in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex requirements clearly to different audiences
• Demonstrated success managing and developing a team, including coaching analysts to exercise sound judgment, setting performance expectations, and allocating capacity across daily operations and projects
• Experience maintaining policies, procedures, and supporting documentation, and translating requirements into clear operational guidance
• Ability to juggle competing priorities, communicate trade-offs and capacity constraints clearly, and drive work through completion
• Familiarity with AI and automation tools, with sound judgment about appropriate use, data protection, and verification of outputs
• Deep knowledge of US KYC requirements, including customer identification, beneficial ownership, CDD, EDD, customer risk rating, and ongoing due diligence for individual and institutional customers
• Experience developing operational metrics and communicating performance, emerging risks, remediation progress, and resource needs to senior management
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience partnering with Product, Engineering, Data, and business teams to develop practical solutions
