Senior Director of Tax

Join Salesforce's International Tax team as a Senior Director of Tax. In this role, you will lead high-impact projects, assess tax opportunities and risks, and provide thought leadership across all regions. You will work closely with the global tax team and cross-functional teams, and manage and mentor team members. • Partner with the SVP of International Tax to assess tax opportunities and risks, make recommendations to the EVP of Global Tax, and execute tax planning strategies.
• Lead international tax matters for M&A, including diligence and integration planning, and provide thought leadership to the international tax team.
• Research and analyze US international tax and non-US tax, monitor legislative developments, and recommend strategies in response.

• You have a track record of cross-border planning and restructuring (e.g., taxable and non-taxable reorganizations, asset transfers, repatriation)
• You have led high-impact, complex international tax projects
• You have 15+ years of experience combining Big 4 accounting or law firm work with corporate tax department work
• You have strong technical knowledge of US international tax and a broad understanding of non-US international tax
• You have managed and mentored teams
• You communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
• You hold a CPA, MST, JD, or other advanced tax or legal credential
• You have excellent organization and project management skills and build strong relationships
