Registered Nurse Medical Progressive Care

Our Medical Progressive Care Unit (MPCU) is a 44 bed intermediary step between ICU and the medicine floor. Our patient population is a large variety of diagnosed patients with multiple comorbidities . Diabetic Ketoacidosis, Sepsis, Respiratory Failure, CIWA, Unstable GI Bleeds, and Acute DVTs. Nurses on MPCU have opportunities to obtain skills and care for our patients with a large variety of diagnoses with multiple comorbidities together with a mentoring and supportive team!
