Job Description
Description:
At Tesla, talent is our greatest asset and the foundation of our innovation. We are seeking a strategic, analytically-minded, and results-driven Program Manager to join our People Organization and lead the way we listen to, understand, and act on the employee experience. In this role, you’ll own the roadmap for a multi-channel, year-round employee sentiment ecosystem, designing scalable feedback mechanisms across the full employee lifecycle and translating complex data into compelling narratives that drive real decisions. Partnering closely with engineering, analytics, and HR teams, you’ll build enterprise-wide tools and integrated solutions that capture the employee voice, surface meaningful trends, and deliver high-impact strategies for enhancing engagement, retention, and business outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Architect a scalable, multi-channel feedback framework that captures the employee voice consistently and at scale, aligned to business priorities and embedded into broader organizational strategy
Own end-to-end listening programs, including annual engagement surveys and targeted lifecycle feedback mechanisms aligned to key employee moments
Design and scale qualitative research practices, including focus groups and interviews, to uncover the “why” behind the data
Analyze quantitative and qualitative insights from all feedback channels, synthesizing trends into clear leadership-ready narratives that inform decision-making and drive meaningful action planning
Own the systems roadmap for employee feedback tools, leveraging automation, AI, and emerging technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Drive org-wide adoption of listening insights through strong stakeholder management, equipping HR teams, people leaders, and other stakeholders with toolkits, training, and self-service analytics to confidently interpret and act on results
Track and support the execution of action plans stemming from listening cycles, partnering across HR teams and business leaders to monitor progress, sustain accountability, and communicate results transparently back to employees
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, STEM) or the equivalent in work experience
Proven experience in survey operations, people analytics, or employee engagement, with a demonstrated track record of designing and owning programs that translate feedback into measurable action
Strong technical acumen, including experience leading enterprise software development projects and hands-on proficiency with data visualization tools
Deep analytical knowledge with the ability to drive high-quality data collection, interpret complex trends, derive actionable insights, and influence scalable reporting/dashboards
Exceptional project management, with the ability to juggle competing priorities and deliver results with precision in a fast-paced, global, matrixed environment
Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to influence across all levels of an organization
