Commercial Due Diligence Consultant Contract to hire · Operating Partner pathway (commercial / growth track) You will answer the buyer's biggest question: will this business grow? You size the market, test the target's competitive position, and pressure-test the revenue forecast.

What you'll do

• Size addressable markets and growth rates by segment, region, and channel.
• Analyze market share, competitive positioning, and barriers to entry.
• Interview customers, distributors, and industry experts to test loyalty and switching risk.
• Analyze customer concentration, churn, pricing power, and backlog quality.
• Review future growth projections and build independent downside, base, and upside cases.
• Identify commercial levers: pricing, cross-sell, new channels, and add-on acquisitions.
• After close, lead the commercial growth plan with sales management and pricing discipline.

What you bring

• 7+ years in strategy consulting, commercial diligence, corporate development, or B2B sales leadership.
• Strong market research, survey design, and expert-interview skills.
• Advanced Excel and market-modeling skills; CRM and pricing analytics a plus.
• Sector depth in industrial, consumer, energy, or services markets VDS serves.
• MBA preferred.
• Operating Partner path: commercial or growth lead, executing pricing, sales, and add-on strategy.
