Comptable AP Team leader English and French

The Bilingual (French and English) AP Team Leader Accountant will oversee the Accounts Payable function, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments. The role also includes mentoring and training a Junior Accountant while supporting continuous process improvement and team efficiency. Description As an AP Team Leader Accountant your responsibilities are: Supervise and manage the accounts payable team to ensure smooth operations. Mentoring and training Junior Accountants to support their professional development and strengthen their technical accounting skills.

Oversee invoice processing and payment approvals in compliance with company policies. Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to resolve payment discrepancies. Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls. Prepare and review reports related to accounts payable performance. Support month-end and year-end closing processes as required.

Propose process improvements to enhance efficiency in the accounts payable function.

A successful AP Team Leader Accountant should have

Educational background in accounting, finance, or a related field. Experience in accounts payable or similar financial operations roles. Strong organisational and team management skills.

Proficiency in Excel. Knowledge of French and English. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

Good communication skills for liaising with vendors and internal teams. Problem-solving abilities to address payment or process issues effectively. Valid EU work permit.
