Environmental Health Specialist I (Water Team)

Douglas County is seeking an Environmental Health professional to join our team! As part of the Douglas County Environmental Health team, the Environmental Health Specialist I performs inspections and investigations of public and private establishments and other environmental situations to ensure compliance with local and state health and safety codes.

Working assigned program to include either retail food establishments, childcares, and body art facilities, or Onsite Waste Treatment Systems (septics), swimming pools, waste tires and landfills, environmental record reviews. Generally, the hiring range is $60,557-$75,696 annually. Qualifications, education and experience as it relates to the position will be taken into consideration when determining hiring salary.
