This role prepares the operating suite with sterile supplies, drapes, and instruments, while assisting with the safe transportation, preparation, positioning, and draping of patients. Throughout procedures, it provides requested instruments and supplies to the surgeon while maintaining strict organization and continuous count tracking to ensure surgical efficiency and patient safety.
