Senior Software Engineer (Full-stack, D&I Solutions)

Join the Global Monitoring Service (GMS) App Team as a Senior Software Engineer. In this role, you will work across the full stack of our application, providing deep technical expertise and mentorship to ensure adherence to engineering best practices. You will design and implement features, develop and maintain applications, build and evolve APIs and services, and drive architectural decisions. You will also collaborate with product managers and designers to deliver solutions.

• Proficiency with React, TypeScript, and component-based frontend architecture
• Proficiency with a server-side language such as Python or Go
• Working knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, and query performance
• Professional working proficiency in English, the language of the company
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other relevant field
• Experience designing, building, and operating backend services and REST APIs in production
• 10+ years of relevant work experience building and operating web applications end to end
• Ability to lead feature implementation from discovery through deployment and production support
• Experience mentoring teammates on engineering best practices
• Experience defining API contracts and integrating frontend and backend systems
• Ability to improve team capabilities through code reviews and knowledge sharing
• Experience with mapping libraries, geospatial data pipelines, or data visualization tools
• Experience with modern testing frameworks and CI/CD practices and leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity
• Background in geospatial technologies, remote sensing, or the defense and intelligence sector
• Experience with containerized deployments, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code
