Staff Accountant

Join Snap Inc., a leading social media company, as a Staff Accountant. In this role, you will be a key member of the Accounting team, responsible for analyzing accounting treatment for transactions, recording and reporting accounting transactions, and optimizing processes for efficient data flow. You will collaborate with various business partners to ensure accurate and timely accounting and US GAAP reporting. Additionally, you will prepare monthly and quarterly journal entries, account reconciliations, and materials for internal and external reporting. You will also identify risks, implement controls, and maintain proper process documentation in accordance with SOX. • Analyser les traitements comptables pour certaines transactions, enregistrer et rapporter les transactions comptables, et optimiser les processus pour un flux de données efficace et précis.
• Préparer les écritures de journal mensuelles et trimestrielles et les rapprochements de comptes dans le cadre du processus de clôture mensuelle pour les domaines assignés.
• Identifier les risques, mettre en œuvre des contrôles, et maintenir la documentation et les preuves de processus appropriés conformément à la loi Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX).

• Strong accounting knowledge and an understanding of US GAAP
• Exceptional analytical and Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLookUps, etc
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and perform several tasks concurrently in a deadline driven environment
• Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills, and superior attention to detail
• A proactive person who can multitask, think creatively, and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Detail-oriented with a high sense of urgency
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work extended hours during critical periods
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent years of experience
• 1+ years of experience as an accounting professional
• CPA License, or in progress
• Big 4 firm experience
• Experience working in cloud finance systems (Oracle, etc.)
• Fortune 500 and/or private company experience
