Director of Marketing & Communications

Join Urban Sky, a pioneering company in the aerospace and technology sectors, as the Director of Marketing & Communications. In this role, you will lead and execute the company's marketing and communications strategy, create marketing materials, develop messaging campaigns, drive digital campaigns, oversee website design and messaging, and manage public relations. You will play a critical role in building Urban Sky's brand, driving lead generation, and communicating our mission to diverse audiences. • Lead and execute the company’s marketing and communications strategy, balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution of marketing tactics.
• Develop and implement targeted messaging campaigns to engage end-users, highlighting Urban Sky’s unique value in applications like wildfire monitoring and urban mapping.
• Oversee the design, content, and messaging of Urban Sky’s front-facing website to ensure it reflects the brand and communicates value propositions effectively.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment with a scrappy, hands-on mindset
• Experience developing and managing digital campaigns for lead generation
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives for diverse audiences, including technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in marketing and communications, with at least 3 years in a leadership or strategic role
• Strong skills in copywriting, graphic design, and digital marketing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Google Analytics, or similar)
• Proven ability to work independently, managing both high-level strategy and detailed tactical execution
• Must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident
