Backend Software Engineer (Health Records)

• Contribuir al diseño y desarrollo de sistemas backend para la ingestión y procesamiento de datos de registros de salud.
• Construir y mantener APIs y servicios seguros y escalables que expongan datos de registros de salud a sistemas internos.
• Colaborar de manera transversal con equipos de producto, ciencia de datos e ingeniería para desbloquear nuevos conocimientos y capacidades de salud.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional environments
• 2-4 years of experience building backend systems and APIs in production environments
• Understanding of API design principles
• Strong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks, ensuring AI-assisted work aligns with the same high-quality standards as personal contributions
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to break down technical tasks and deliver iteratively
• Exposure to healthcare data standards (e.g., FHIR, CDA) or integrating with external health data sources
• Familiarity with designing and working with data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and validation of structured or semi-structured data
• Experience working with backend technologies such as Java (or similar), relational databases (e.g., Postgres), and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS)
