Fullstack Software Engineer (Health)

Join WHOOP, a leading digital health company, as a Fullstack Software Engineer on the Health team. In this role, you will build and maintain clinical tools that power WHOOP's healthcare initiatives. You will work across the full stack, developing secure and scalable applications that enable healthcare providers and internal teams to interact with member health data. You will collaborate closely with Product, Design, Data Science, and Clinical teams to build intuitive user experiences and contribute to innovative health experiences.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build impactful clinical tools and healthcare experiences.
• Develop and maintain full stack applications using React, TypeScript, Java, RESTful APIs, Postgres, Kafka, and AWS.
• Design and implement secure backend services and APIs that protect sensitive health information and support scalable, reliable clinical workflows.

• Experience building modern web applications using React and TypeScript
• Experience writing automated tests and producing clear technical documentation
• Experience building secure applications, with an understanding of authentication, authorization, and best practices for protecting sensitive user data
• Experience working with modern frontend architecture, component libraries, and design systems
• Experience developing backend services and RESTful APIs using Java (or another object-oriented language) and working with relational databases such as Postgres
• Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys working across the full technology stack
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for building scalable, user-focused software through iterative, data-informed development
