Senior Enterprise Sales Engineer (Central)

Join Chainguard as an Enterprise Sales Engineer. In this role, you will assess technical requirements, cultivate relationships with decision-makers, secure technical wins, and partner with the sales team to evaluate and prove the value of our solution. You will focus on acquiring new customers and growing the existing customer base. Day-to-day responsibilities include listening to customers, conducting product demonstrations, and participating in marketing initiatives. • Assess a prospect’s technical requirements and apply extensive knowledge of Chainguard products to illustrate how a deal will satisfy the client’s unmet needs.
• Cultivate relationships with decision-makers at all levels of an organization and negotiate the competing needs of multiple stakeholders within an organization.
• Secure technical wins using methods such as demos, RFP/RFI responses, lead POVs, partner with engineering for requested features, and participate in conferences and industry events.

• Startup experience
• Cloud technology (AWS, Azure, Google, etc.)
• Experience in the following areas:
• App Security
• Container technologies (Kubernetes, Serverless, Docker)
• Strong team players committed to help and mentor their peers
• Experience with MEDDPICC and or Command of the Message sales frameworks
• Experience selling into Enterprise (3+ years) and Mid Market prospects
• Experience as a Sales Engineer / Pre-Sales Engineer
• People acting as trusted advisors, able to build credibility with customers
• Cloud security or containers security
