Staff Data Scientist

• Guiding key analytics projects across Go-To-Market and Account Management teams, and improving understanding of the business.
• Creating scalable frameworks that connect dots across the business into easily interpretable outputs, and proactively root causing data and performance issues.
• Establishing clear causal links between actions and outcomes through experimentation and other relevant methods, and championing best practices within Analytics.

• The ideal candidate for this role is intensely curious, holds themselves to a high analytical bar, while simultaneously balancing analytical rigor with speed and ultimate business impact
• Biased for action - knows when to not let perfect be the enemy of good enough, while also can effectively highlight the tradeoffs/risks of moving too quickly too soon
• 5+ years of experience using analytical and statistical methods to support and drive critical business outcomes
• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or other related fields
• Expert communicator who can break down complex technical concepts into simple business vernacular
• Advanced experience with SQL, business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Mode, Looker, etc.)
• Demonstrated success driving business strategy and outcomes from an analytics lens
• Track record of using quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills to drive decisions
• Experience across a variety of analytical domains that allow you to bring unique perspectives to solving hard problems
• Strong ownership mindset with a deep natural curiosity to dive into the details and understand how systems work
• Experience with ETL processes, especially utilizing dbt and Snowflake
