Staff Software Engineer (Marketplace Growth)

As a Staff Software Engineer in Marketplace Growth, you will play a crucial role in helping consumers discover, adopt, and repeatedly use Zipline delivery. You will work across product, marketing, analytics, and operations to design and build software systems that drive customer acquisition, activation, referral, and retention. This is a highly cross-functional role that requires strong engineering fundamentals, excellent collaboration and communication skills, and a curiosity about customer behavior and growth dynamics.

• Concevoir et construire des systèmes logiciels qui aident les clients à découvrir Zipline, à s'inscrire avec succès, à passer leur première commande et à devenir des utilisateurs réguliers.
• Développer des systèmes qui stimulent l'acquisition, l'activation, la recommandation et la fidélisation des clients, et lancer et itérer rapidement sur les expériences de croissance.

• 10+ years of experience building customer-facing software systems
• Comfort working with data, analytics, experimentation, and attribution systems
• Experience improving acquisition, onboarding, activation, or retention metrics
• An extreme-ownership mindset
• Strong engineering fundamentals across frontend and backend systems
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• A bias toward action, experimentation, and rapid iteration
• Curiosity about customer behavior and growth dynamics
• Strong product instincts and customer empathy
