Cook II - Cavanaughs

Join our team as a Cook II at Cavanaughs. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of menu items, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, and assisting in the training of junior staff. You will work closely with the Room Chef, Sous Chefs, and Cook 1 to ensure proper preparation, stocking, sanitation, and presentation of food. • Cleans, cuts, and grinds meats, poultry, and seafood; dips food items in crumbs, flour, and batter to bread them; and stirs and strains soups and sauces.
• Assists in the training of Cook 3 and Steward/utility staff, responsible for the proper preparation and presentation of all menu items.
• Works closely with the Room Chef, Sous Chefs and Cook 1 to ensure proper preparation, stocking, sanitation, and presentation required by management.
