CFO/VP of Finance

Join Modern Treasury, a fast-growing fintech company, as a CFO/VP of Finance. In this strategic role, you will partner closely with the CEO and management team to shape the company's growth, drive resource allocation, and guide the economics of our product. You will also lead capital markets and strategic transactions, partner with the Board and key investors, and scale the finance function. This position requires experience in high-growth startups, fintech, and strategic transactions.

• Partner closely with the CEO and management team on company strategy, organizational design, and resource allocation.
• Drive resource allocation and long-term value creation by determining where to invest people and capital.
• Lead capital markets and strategic transactions, including primary capital raises, debt facilities, M&A, and other strategic transactions.

• You've operated in a high-growth startup and with experience in investment banking, private equity, or venture capital as a plus
• You have fintech experience in the infrastructure or application layer with payments experience as a strong plus
• You have a combination of strategic judgment, commercial instincts, and financial depth
• You're a strong communicator and storyteller who can represent the business clearly and credibly with boards, investors, and other external stakeholders
• You think and act as a company builder and a driver (not a passenger)
• Note on leveling: Depending on the person, this could be a VP of Finance or a Chief Financial Officer role
• You've navigated strategic transactions such as primary capital raises, debt financings, or M&A
