Job Description

Join Prismatic as a Strategic Finance Manager, where you'll play a crucial role in driving decision-making through data analysis. You'll work cross-functionally, own KPI reporting, lead strategic planning efforts, and manage FP&A functions. This remote position offers unlimited PTO, comprehensive benefits, and the opportunity to shape processes from scratch.

  • This role is ideal for someone who’s comfortable owning ambiguity, wants to be the go-to analytical and strategic resource for an entire company, and is eager to develop a deep knowledge of what drives success in every function at a scaling SaaS company
  • Comfortable operating independently in a fast-moving, evolving environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex analysis into clear takeaways for non-finance audiences
  • 3-5 years of experience spanning investment banking, private equity, or a similar high-rigor analytical background, combined with experience in FP&A or strategic finance at an operating company (ideally a high-growth SaaS or software startup)
  • Demonstrated ability to operate as a strategic thought partner to leadership by providing data with context and a viewpoint, not just reporting numbers
  • Highly organized and responsive — capable of juggling multiple concurrent requests from different teams without dropping the ball on data quality or deadlines
  • Strong understanding of core SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR/GRR, CAC, LTV, magic number, burn multiple, rule of 40, etc.) and how they connect to the underlying business
  • A proven track record in building processes/tooling from scratch, ideally utilizing AI to reliably accelerate development
  • Excellent financial modeling skills — able to build models that are clean, well-structured, and hold up under scrutiny
  • If this role excites you but you're not sure you check every box, apply anyway. We consider every application thoughtfully and will either move forward with you, connect you with another team that might be a better fit, or keep in touch for future opportunities
  • Familiarity with BI/dashboarding tools
  • Experience at a company under ~100 employees, where you built reporting processes rather than inherited them
  • Understanding of SQL
  • Familiarity with FP&A tools
  • Experience with dbt and Snowflake, or comparable modern data-stack tooling
Required Skills
decision making data analysis KPIs strategic planning FP&A communication private equity leadership financial modeling SQL dbt Snowflake
