Position at JBS USA
INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICIAN
HOURS:
Work in all areas of the plant - flexible as needed or required
All shifts available- 8-hour days, 5-7 days per week, and needed/scheduled
DUTIES:
Diagnose and troubleshoot all electrical issues and problems, including PLCs, motors, sensors, and wiring.
Perform regular preventive maintenance to ensure machinery is working in optimal performance
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
Improve, install, and upgrade machinery performance
Troubleshoot and solve equipment issues with other maintenance team members
Follow and comply with safety guidelines and company protocols such as lockout/tagout, electrical work, and equipment operations.
Maintain records of electrical repairs and maintenance performed.
Assist in the implementation of new equipment installations and modifications
Ensure minimal downtime on production by responding promptly to equipment breakdowns
Ability to work in confined spaces.
Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
Perform other duties as needed or assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate's Degree in Electrical or Electronics
Minnesota Journeyman or Master's license
not required,
but a plus
Ability to read and understand electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Ability to work with advanced mathematics, all types of circuit drawing, and test equipment
In-depth knowledge of industrial electrical systems, controls, and machinery.
Experience working with PLCs, VFDs, and HMI systems.
Knowledge of relevant safety regulations, including OSHA and NFPA standards
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving.
Understand and comply with Company policy and procedures
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Good work history and attendance

Base pay range:
$28.35 - $42.60 (DOQ)
