Business Analyst - Financial Services - Gent

Our client is a fast-growing organization active in the financial services sector. As part of its continued expansion, the company is investing heavily in digital transformation initiatives aimed at harmonizing processes, improving operational efficiency, and supporting the adoption of innovative technologies, including AI. As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in the group's digital transformation journey.

Working closely with business stakeholders and digital teams, you will analyze existing ways of working, identify improvement opportunities, and support the implementation of new tools and processes across multiple entities. This position is ideal for someone with a background in accounting or finance who has developed a strong interest in technology, process optimization, and digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and document business processes across different entities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and automation.
• Gather and challenge business requirements from key stakeholders.
• Act as the bridge between end-users, operational teams, and digital experts.
• Support the implementation and adoption of new digital solutions.
• Drive change management and promote best practices across the organization.
• Help users leverage new technologies and AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude.
• Provide training and guidance to internal teams on digital tools and new ways of working.
• Monitor user feedback and propose continuous improvements.
• Profile 3 to 5 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst, Process Analyst, Functional Analyst or Digital Transformation Consultant.
• Alternatively, experience in accounting combined with strong exposure to digital tools and process improvement.
• Knowledge of accounting and financial workflows.
• Familiarity with accounting software or digital finance solutions is a strong advantage.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Curious about technology, AI, and innovation.
• Hands-on mindset and willingness to work in a fast-growing environment.
• Fluent in Dutch and English .
