Applications Developer, Digital & Information Technology

In this role, you will work with business stakeholders and DIT team members to understand business requirements and deliver application solutions that support operational and engineering processes Also, you will lead digitalization initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline business processes, eliminate manual activities, improve user productivity, and reduce the cost and effort required to perform business operations Further, you will partner with business stakeholders to evaluate existing workflows and develop technology solutions that improve efficiency, automation, data quality, and overall user experience You will drive the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies by identifying opportunities to embed AI capabilities into business processes, enterprise applications, and digital solutions Additionally, participate in application development activities including requirements engineering, solution design, software development, testing, deployment, and release management You will develop and maintain integrations between enterprise applications, including SAP, engineering tools, cloud platforms, and other business systems Act as a technical liaison between business stakeholders and IT, translating business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions Support modernization efforts through enhancement of legacy applications and development of cloud-based solutions.

Create and maintain technical documentation including design specifications, support procedures, architecture diagrams, and user documentation Collaborate with global Digital Information Technology teams to align application development practices, architecture standards, and support processes Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies, tools, and development practices that improve application quality, security, maintainability, and business value Support reporting, analytics, and business intelligence solutions that improve visibility into key business processes and performance metrics
